expanded Sewing Shop hours
01/30/2008Waterside is excited with the addition of a new and talented staff member/volunteer, Trilby. Due to popular demand Trilby has expanded the open studio hours at Sew Your Own; now not only Sundays 4-8pm, but also Fridays 10am - 2pm.
Sew Your Own boasts a substantial collection of industrial sewing machines, including heavy duty machines for leather and canvas, overlocks, a blind stitch, as well as domestic machines. The Shop is open for your individual projects, further inspiration, or expanding your current knowledge. Cost: $5/hr, and first visit is free. Through Mar 31 you can purchase a 10 hr pass for $30. programs.
