Donating Items
Waterside Workshops is constantly in need of tools and other items to keep our programs going. We're regularly updating our Things We Need page to reflect our wish-list of items. Some items are so basic that it almost goes without saying: any tools one would use to repair bicycles or boats, bike parts and frames, fabrics and other sewing notions, quality sewing machines and accessories.
Because Waterside Workshops is a legal non-profit organization, donations are tax-deductible. When you bring your item you will be asked to approximate its value and this will be the amount you may claim on your taxes should you itemize. We will provide a receipt when you drop off your item.
