History of Waterside Workshops
Waterside Workshops has truly been many months in the works and, of course, continues to grow month by month. We officially started in April 2007 having been given our official status as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This whole endeavor has been a collaborative effort by handful of individuals dedicated to the notion of giving back to their community in a very unique way. We bring to the Berkeley Aquatic Park activities that will be institutional in the very near future and with the help of our great neighbors, like B.O.R.P., and The City of Berkeley, we are slowly turning an area that was once forgotten, delapidated, and full of junk into a vibrant center of activity for young and old.
